Please note that you can only link 1 family member to access your SmartPay entitlement. 

 

Yes, we will link your driver’s Setel account with your SmartPay account.

Just provide us with your driver’s mobile phone number that is registered to his/her Setel account and help you link them together. 

Once the linking is complete, your driver may proceed to purchase fuel for your vehicle using your SmartPay balance.

Please note that you can only link 1 driver to access your SmartPay entitlement. 

You can start immediately as SmartPay is currently available on Setel. You just need to ensure your accounts have been linked successfully.   

From 1st Jan 2020, you have a choice of using your SmartPay physical card or SmartPay payment method on Setel for your fuel purchases.

Yes you can, please use your physical SmartPay card to purchase fuel. Setel is currently enabled at more than 900 PETRONAS stations nationwide. You can view the full list of Setel enabled stations on our website: https://www.setel.my/locations  

Yes you can. You can utilise your full SmartPay entitlement on both Setel and the physical SmartPay card.

You can only view Smartpay transactions on Setel if the purchase was made using the app. However, you can still view your latest SmartPay balance on the Setel app.

As per PETRONAS HR policy, your SmartPay entitlement is only valid for fuel purchases.

As per PETRONAS HR policy, you are not able to earn points for purchasing fuel using Smartpay via Setel.

Once we link your SmartPay account with your Setel account, you would not be required to key in the SmartPay PIN number anymore for your fuel purchases.

Yes your SmartPay account on Setel will also be suspended. Please reach out to SmartPay to reactivate your account.
