This Contest is open to registered and active PETRONAS Mesra Card members who either have physical Mesra Cards and/or digital Mesra Cards on the Setel Mobile Application (“Setel App”) or Setel web at https://www.setel.com; who are Malaysian citizens, aged 18 and above (“Participant” or “Participants”) and abide to the terms and conditions (https://www.mymesra.com.my/about-us/policies-notice/terms-conditions).

1. Registered and active PETRONAS Mesra card members via physical Mesra card and/or digital Mesra Cards on the Setel Mobile Application (“Setel App”) or Setel web at https://www.setel.com can take part in this Contest. Participants are required to fulfil the following during purchases:

1.1 Using the Setel App

1.1.1 Participant(s) must successfully link and activate their Mesra Card to the Setel App and make payment using the Setel App to participate in the Contest.

Upon three (3) successful payments in a month using Setel App, of minimum RM40 each in one receipt, participant(s) will automatically be issued entry badge(s) via Setel app, subject to meeting criteria.

1.2 Using physical Mesra Card only

1.2.1 Participant(s) must successfully swipe their Mesra Card when making payment via cash, credit card, debit card or PETRONAS Gift Card(s) (except SmartPay card) and must register/login to submit their receipt(s) via Setel web* (https://www.setel.com) within seven (7) days from transaction date to participate in the Contest.

*The Setel web page for the PETRONAS Primax 97 with Pro-Race Fuel Contest badge collection will require a Setel registration/login on the same page.

Upon successful upload of participant(s)’ receipt, the transaction progress bar will be updated within five (5) working days from the date of your receipt submission on Setel web subject to meeting the Contest spend criteria.

Upon successful upload of participant(s)’ third receipt, the badge will be issued within five (5) working days from the date of your third receipt submission on Setel web subject to meeting the Contest spend criteria.

2. To win the Monthly Prizes:

• 1-year worth of fuel (RM3, 000) in the form of Setel e-wallet credit (3 winners per month x 3 months) = 9 winners
• RM 100 Setel voucher (100 Winners per month x 3 months) = 300 winners
• RM 360 PETRONAS Lubricants Marketing Malaysia Products – 2x PETRONAS Syntium 3000 5W-30 (20 Winners per month x 3 months) = 60 winners

Spend three (3) times in a month at any given time during the Contest with a minimum of RM 40 per transaction in a single receipt on PETRONAS Primax 97 with Pro-Race (“Fuel”) at any PETRONAS stations and participate via the Setel App or Setel web within the spend period specified in item (A)5  to attain entries to be in the running for the monthly prizes.

• Three (3) payment transactions via the Setel app will automatically grant badges which entitles the participant(s) to two (2) entries.
• Three (3) payment transactions via cash, credit or debit card, PETRONAS Gift card with Mesra Card swipe only (without the Setel app) with receipt submission on the Setel web only, participants will be granted a badge which entitles the participant(s) with one (1) entry. The badge will be issued within five (5) working days, starting from the date of third receipt submission on the Setel web.

3. To win the Grand Prize and First Prize:

All entries recorded throughout the Contest period that meet the monthly prizes criteria together with its respective number of entries will automatically qualify for the Grand Prize and 1st Prize draw at the end of the Contest period.

Note: The Grand Prize winner will be drawn at the end of the Contest.

Winner selection for grand prize and first prize will be drawn at the end of the Contest period. All entries recorded between 01 March 2021 – 31 May 2021 until will be automatically enrolled into the Grand Prize draw.

Winner selection will be done monthly to select monthly prize winners based on the periods below:

Shortlisted winners will receive a call from PETRONAS Mesralink to verify their details and to answer a simple question before declaring them as winners.

Eligible winners will also receive an official email from PETRONAS to notify about winning and how to claim the prize from PETRONAS after announcement on PDB’s website: mymesra.com.my

To receive a Badge, please ensure that you’ve:

5.     To link your existing Mesra card number, click on “Link & Transfer points” button
6.     Key in the 17 digits on your existing Mesra Card and click on “continue” button
7.     Congratulations, you have successfully linked your existing Mesra Card with Setel.

To check your Mesra points balance on Setel, just launch Setel app on your mobile phone and click on “Rewards” to view your points balance.

No, you currently cannot use your PETRONAS gift card balance to top up Setel and make purchases on Setel.

Setel is now available at over 1000 PETRONAS stations nationwide. Due to the Covid-19 situation, there may be a delay in enabling Setel to the stations within your area. You may check the station availability in your area from time to time via the Setel app or website (www.setel.my).

Setel is safe to be used at the petrol station before and after refueling, with compliance to the station safety guidelines provided. If you’re using Setel to pay for fuel at the station, you may refer to the station safety guidelines that can be found in the app right before your purchase:

Car drivers:

1. Park at a Setel enabled fuel pump.
2. Launch Setel.
3. Select pump number and fuel amount.
4. Once the pump is ready, turn off your car engine, put your phone away and step out to refuel.

Do not use your phone or re-enter your car while refueling!

 Motorcycle riders:

1. Park at a Setel enabled fuel pump and turn off your engine.
2. Launch Setel.
3. Select pump number and fuel amount while seated on your motorcycle.
4. Once the pump is ready, put your phone away and step down to refuel.
