Customer Lifecycle and Performance Marketing Manager


The Customer Lifecycle and Performance Marketing manager is to lead all top of funnel customer acquisition efforts across the business. The primary focus will be on generating quality user signups and app account activations via paid and organic acquisition, where you will be tracking, testing and optimizing our customer acquisition marketing mix. You will also be tasked with improving customer activation and engagement through multi-channel marketing messaging campaigns across email, in-app push, and SMS. 

 In this role, you’ll have an opportunity to work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities that will drive user growth & retention while upholding our brand image. Highly creative thinking and articulate copywriting, combined with demonstrated innovation and analytical capabilities, are necessities for this role.

About the Role

Your Mission

  • Work closely with internal & external stakeholders to obtain customer insights with the objective of building relevant and effective campaigns
  • Establish targeting and user segments strategies based on customer lifecycle management & predictive analytics.
  • Implement and optimize new customer journeys across various user segments by engaging and activating customers
  • Design and write messaging across push notifications, email, and SMS within marketing platforms
  • Drive and execute A/B testing based on hypothesis with the objective of improving campaigns to meet campaign objectives
  • Grow organic adoption and referral programmes
  • Strategically lead all paid social channels, search, mobile and display from ideation to execution
  • Work closely with the design and marketing teams to develop high-performing ads and content
  • To track, monitor and deliver campaigns performance to ensure KPI & campaign objectives are met ie CAC (Customer acquisition cost), customer activation rate and communicate results to stakeholdesr
  • Generate and create reports for stakeholders
  • Develop and manage a calendar of promotions and seasonal campaigns
  • Help with the planning, forecasting and measurement of marketing’s impact on the business
  • Experiment with and grow traffic-driving initiatives including: social media (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.), email marketing, content marketing, partner programs, ASO
  • Degree in Marketing/Mass Communications with minimum 3-4 years of working experience in digital performance marketing for e-commerce, fintech or tech industry
  • Experience developing content that generates engagement and top of the funnel growth.
  • Deep knowledge of paid media platforms, content strategy and multi-channel drip campaigns
  • Metrics-driven, understanding the relationship between CAC & LTV, ROAS, and other unit economics
  • Passionate about understanding consumer behavior, translating findings into meaningful action
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong presentation skills
  • Fluent in Mixpanel analytics
  • Fluent with running campaigns on Facebook, Google, Twitter, app, mobile & email marketing platforms
  • Previous experience with enterprise CRM and lifecycle marketing platforms such as Salesforce, Marketo, Mailchimp etc
  • Keen sense for details with an analytical and critical thinking mind-set
  • Ability to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills in English 
  • Excellent presentation and speaking skills
  • Able to adapt and perform in a fast moving environment
