Marketing & Communications Manager

MARKETING  |  FULL-TIME

The Marketing & Communications Manager is someone who is curious and passionate about driving marketing activities that are relevant and attractive to customers, an avid social media user who is passionate about driving relevant and effective content marketing & be a brand steward in the social media space. 


In this role, you’ll have an opportunity to work closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive marketing campaigns, social media and content marketing, liaise and build relationship with key influencers/community for the brand. You should have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask and liaise with multiple stakeholders in carrying out your daily tasks, with a keen eye for details and a critical thinking mindset.

About the Role

Your Mission

  • Drive and execute marketing and promotional campaigns. 
  • To prepare marketing collaterals, execute, measure and track campaign results.
  • Develop, track and report marketing spend.
  • Create marketing presentation, generate & create reports for stakeholders.
  • Develop campaigns schedules and maintain deadline.
  • Design, build and maintain our social media strategy & presence.
  • Navigate through social media solutions to identify trends and customer insights with the objective of building relevant and inspiring content.
  • Work closely with the design and marketing teams to develop/create original content, text and video, and effective communication materials.
  • Manage postings of content and respond to social followers.
  • Handle traffic and follower engagement on Setel’s social media platforms.
  • To measure and track performance of social media content/campaigns, to produce report and ROI gained.
  • Identify, establish and build a relationship with key influencers/communities.
  • Monitor social chatter and report brand & competitive activities.
  • Stay updated with the latest social trends, tools and competitive activities.
  • Coordinate and manage PR, creative, social, media agencies and other vendors in the course of executing campaigns
  • Collaborate and work closely with internal and external stakeholders, agencies, vendors and partners to ensure smooth execution of daily tasks
  • Degree in Marketing/Mass Communications/Business Administration with minimum 4-5 years of working experience in marketing/branding/social media/digital marketing background
  • Well versed and enjoy working on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube
  • Keen sense for details with an analytical and critical thinking mind-set
  • Ability to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills in English and Malay
  • Excellent presentation and speaking skills
  • Strong command of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Able to adapt and perform in a fast moving environment
